OUR STORY
Florida Coastal Renovations was built on a lifetime of hands-on experience, beginning with owner Mike Burnsed’s earliest memories of learning construction from his father. Growing up in Florida, he was immersed in the trade from a young age before his father’s contracting work brought the family to the Carolinas. There, he spent weekends and evenings on job sites, carrying tools, learning the craft, and understanding the responsibility that comes with working on someone’s home.
By his teens, he was running crews and managing installations with a level of care that earned trust from homeowners and contractors alike. After weathering industry shifts and continuing to sharpen his skills across multiple states, Mike brought that experience back home to Jacksonville, where he and his wife Ashley are raising their family. Today, he leads Florida Coastal Renovations with decades of knowledge and a deep commitment to doing work the right way.
